Aruba, Aruba

Today, we visited Aruba for the second time in nine days.

As we ate breakfast, we watched the pilot boat come up next to the ship so the local pilot could jump onto our ship.

Most ports we've been into have pilots that must board ships to provide guidance in and out of that port.

Our room is on the starboard (right) side of the ship and opposite the dock in Aruba. Not far from the ship, there is a large sandbar.

On that sandbar, there is a single tree.

When nature wants something, it always finds a way.

Once again, we took a stroll through town, browsing the shops. Today, we posed for a photo.

Afterward, we headed back to the ship for a lunch of burgers and fries as well as checking off another of the ship's watering holes from our list.

We spent the afternoon reading in our deck before showering and heading down for afternoon trivia. Trivia didn't go well but we had fun and learned things.

We finished off our bar list before dinner and enjoyed a nice dinner at our window table. Arlona discovered that the children's menu has a terrific filet on it, so that will be in the plan going forward.

We played a game show called "play your cards right" patterned after the TV show "Card Sharks". Our team won twice and even though they were no prizes, it was all good fun.

We spent some time in the shops and at the martini bar and called it a night.

Tomorrow, Curacao, again.
