Day 4 found us docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We disembarked for an excursion to the rainforest and beach.
Here we are about to make the trek through the rainforest to a river running through the rainforest.
Arlona went for a wade in the river.
Our walk took us past small rapids and some more really cool flowers.
We even saw a barracuda!
After the excursion, we walked through the shops in Old San Juan and then headed back to the Mardi Gras.
When we arrived back in our room, yet another towel animal greeted us.
Before dinner, we went to the Fortune teller bar and enjoyed a Crystal Ball.
The Mardi Gras added a new dining venue called Chibang featuring a combo of Chinese and Mexican dishes. We tried it for dinner tonight, staying on the Chinese side of the menu. We all enjoyed dinner and then headed to the theater for a less-than-stellar magic show. With all the sun and pre-dinner libations, we called it a night and saw the lights of San Juan as we sailed away for Amber Cove, Dominican Republic.
